The Sierpinski Triangle is an extremely interesting geometric construction which may be created using an equilateral triangle. Locate the mid-points of each of the sides of the triangle and connect each of the mid-points with a line segment. We now have three equilateral triangles within the original equilateral triangle. This process can be continued indefinitely or until you choose to stop.
